What is Epic Brick Adventures?

What is Epic Brick Adventures? It's a Tabletop Role Playing Game but with bricks! It's the Lego® Movie meets Dungeons and Dragons!

I wouldn’t call Epic Brick Adventures a typical RPG… it doesn't even use dice!
The mechanics are actually quite unique and add to the flavour of the game. You get introduced to the Bag of Bricks in the Introductory Rules Guidebook which shifts not only the mechanics of using dice to bricks, but creates a system that is even more random and reflects the success or failures of those you’re challenging. It also introduces Epic Success and Epic Failure Bricks so that you can still experience the joy of rolling a 20 or the despair of rolling a 1.

Epic Brick Adventures isn't like any other roleplaying game you've ever known. In most RPGs, the idea is to plot and plan, to think before you act and to make sure your character survives, thrives, and becomes more proficient at everything he or she does.

FORGET ALL THAT!

When getting stomped on by giant robots or jumping out of airplanes without a parachute no longer means that you need to make a new character, you will soon learn to start taking risks... really BIG risks, that you never would take in real life or even other RPGs! You can't ever really die, (you are made of plastic) so you've got nothing to lose by jumping right into the thick of things, having fun and taking chances.

Here's something else that's special about playing the role of a MiniHero: It doesn't matter how weak or inept your character is. Poor dice-rolling or terrible stats don’t mean a bad character. Half the fun of playing is failing . . . because of the crazy things that can happen when you fail! "Bad" characters are just as much fun, maybe more fun than "great" characters.

So forget what you know because, “YOU ARE A TOY!”, just to quote a famous toy.

The concept of the Brick Realms is that there are many dimensions all interconnected by gateways. Through these gateways you can enter into any world of your making. It could be a world created by a company that produces bricks or it could be an alternate reality based world of your own design.

So it is quite conceivable you could be adventuring in the Wild West and come across a mage that is trying to rebuild their spaceship after a run in with a villain with superpowers.

Whatever you can conceive can be created in this reality. In this world, Imagination is real.

And of course if you are a Lego® Brick building sort of person... you can build it all out of bricks!
